How it works
You send us a job description. We use Headhunt.AI to identify and score candidates, draft personalised bilingual scout mails, and run outreach. Our human team, a Business Manager who owns the client relationship and a Candidate Manager who owns every candidate conversation, handles meetings, motivation, interview prep, feedback, and offer negotiation. AI in the middle, humans on either end.
Three engagement models
- Contingency, pay only when we hire. Standard 35% placement fee, with 5% off for 14-day exclusivity or for Headhunt.AI subscribers. Best for occasional senior hires or trialing the relationship.
- Dedicated RPO, an embedded recruiter on your TA team, full or half time. Monthly retainer priced by role seniority. Best for hiring at volume or stretched TA capacity.
- Tier-1 Premium, pre-pay placement fees as a deposit to unlock guaranteed weekly searches, a dedicated team, and ESAI.work analytics. Bronze ¥7.5M / Silver ¥12M / Gold ¥16.5M per 6 months. Deposit applies 100% to placement fees. Best for companies hiring 5+ senior roles per year.
Why we operate it as a separate company
Different licenses, different obligations. ESAI Agency K.K. holds the recruiting license and is therefore subject to the Employment Security Act (職業安定法), registered with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare under the Tokyo prefecture (東京労働局). The platform company (ExecutiveSearch.AI K.K.) is software-only and unregulated as a recruiter. Splitting the licenses keeps the regulatory perimeter clean and lets the platform serve agencies that compete with our own. Two licenses, two companies, one engine.
